Avengers

*ozphopia Moments ago I love this minimalist worn/mottled effect artwork. It challenges the artist to get the core mesage of the piece through to the viewer with very little detail, and while that sounds esay, ensuring that the the image is easily recognisable and true to the form is harder than it seems.

*thelincdesign has done the Avengers proud.

Each of the individual characters is clearly defined with a clear break in the colour pallete, while the six individual panels still flow smoothly across the panel. This is a nice piece of art, one that would look great in any modern decor, and with the green Hulk toward the middle, and the red and blue shield with the star of Captain America in the middle, helps transcend across the generations from the older to the new heroes.

If you haven't seen the Avengers, this poster should really give you a great insight into the characters, with the dark hues through to the bursting energy of the bright yellow.
